VIDEO FEATURES

4k footage is captured in a true cinema 17:9 ratio, rather than 16:9. This is a step up from Ultra High Definition (UHD) which is 3890 x 2160.

The former EOS 1D C and 1D X have an 18.1 million pixel sensor. The EOS 1D X mk II features a new 20.2 million pixel sensor.

The larger sensor is said to reduce noise in low light areas and also add better detail to shadows.

The EOS 1DX Mark II records up to 29 minutes 59 seconds of 4k video at a time. This gives Canon a huge advantage over Nikon's disappointing 3 minute max of 4k video capturing.

Touch screen focus pulling! The 3.2 inch rear touchscreen allows for fast auto focusing in live mode.

Note* There is no 4K HDMI output on this camera but you can capture full HD video from the HDMI port.

I'm looking forward to trying this epic camera and they're available for pre-order at www.BHphotovideo.com.
